For Everyone…
Whether you desire to immerse yourself in the yoga lifestyle, or want to teach, or expand your teaching tool bag, we’re a fit. Whether a beginner, or a more experienced practitioner wanting to deepen your practice, our program is designed to suit your needs and schedule. Our approach is multi-disciplinary and we draw from a diverse range of Yoga traditions. We encourage inquiry based learning that allows you to fine-tune your interest and skill, while developing your own voice and style. Previous experience participating in Yoga classes or a personal practice is recommended, but not required. Yoga meets our body where it is. By cultivating a heart-centered, compassionate practice we move deeper within our optimal potential. In-joy the journey!
Course Conductor: Islena Faircrest is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT, Yoga BC Senior Yoga Teacher, Doula, and Bowenwork Therapist. This well-received program has graduated many yoga teachers now successfully teaching across the TriCities, RidgeMeadows, Lower Mainland & Northern California. This foundational course will systematically deepen your experience, practice, and understanding of the philosophical roots and diverse history of the Hatha Yoga tradition. Develop skills to teach inspiring yoga classes including aspects of pranayama (classical breathing techniques), meditation, and asana (postures).
